Legendary circus and equestrian show Cirque Medrano opened in 1872 with ten horses and five equestrians. Located in Paris near Montmarte, many young artists lived and painted at Cirque Medrano including Toulouse-Letrec, Degas, Pablo Picasso and later Benton Francis Scott.
